Welp, I am off for two weeks and working on college and this awesome new painting idea I have.

The following is one of maybe five or six other sketches of characters in the scene.

The light indicator is from the magic arrow she is about to fire, by the way. The light sources are from above and to the west in viewer's perspective and the final product will be a 1366x768 wallpaper, so it will be perfect for things like a desktop and such.

Two Weeks of AWESOME

THIS is the really rough initial sketch of the villainess for Priscilla, Griselda. I apologize for the bad line work, but this is just a rough design.

Griselda is a very stubborn but intelligent woman. She's meticulous, shrewd and calculating, always plotting and scheming. Like Priscilla, she was given a ghostly companion, but hers comes in the form of a cat named Opal. She is actually Priscilla's older sister, as they are both princesses, but unlike her sister, she has way more modesty and self-control and is older and wiser. Griselda is very mordant in her tone and a bit condescending, often flaunting her status as a way of getting what she wants. When her sister runs away from the royal castle of her kingdom to go out and have a little adventure, she immediately takes the reigns and takes charge. Instead of finding Priscilla, however, Griselda had a much darker, sinister agenda...

Opal is twice as powerful and cunning as Grinny, the ghost companion of Priscilla, but is made even more dangerous by the fact that unlike Grinny, Opal doesn't need to be fed runes in order to transform. Combined with Griselda's intelligence and sinister agenda, Griselda is a force to be reckoned with.

As a side note, she keeps much of her personality to herself, and other things such as her weight, age and bust size, mainly for personal reasons.

Okay, so I just finished my newest pic of a heroine named Priscilla, with her sidekick, Grinny, that's been established. Next up, concept art of the villainess Griselda.

After that, a fight scene between the two with a background.

And if possible, would someone mind teaching me how to vector something like this? I already have it in a .png format, and would like some help vectoring it.

For those who use Wattpad, or those who just don't give a damn, I am going to tell you the story for Maya thus far...

In Chapter 1, Meredith Blakely goes back to Little Oaks, Colorado to look for her missing sister, who had been gone for 4 years, since she was age 11. When she approaches the mansion grounds, where the note told her to go, she starts seeing vile visions of corpses and faints. She wakes up in one of the guest rooms of the house, finds a holy flashlight and cautiously ventures into the halls of the place Maya is supposedly missing in.

In Chapter 2, Meredith encounters a demon that ambushes her from behind, and the only way to defeat is to shine the flashlight on the sigil that summoned it. Avoiding getting injured, if by a miracle, Meredith defeats the monster and then cries her eyes out because of the trauma she had just experienced. She then makes a move on to the Kitchen in search of a key that the note said to find, only to be ambushed by a shadow demon. After realizing its sigil is fake, the note tells Meredith to shine the light onto the demon itself, causing to go back into the wall from whence it came and melt away.

In Chapter 3, Meredith then makes a move on to the Kitchen in search of a key that the note said to find, only to be ambushed by a shadow demon. After realizing its sigil is fake, the note tells Meredith to shine the light onto the demon itself, causing to go back into the wall from whence it came and melt away.

In Chapter 4, Meredith recalls the last two encounters, but ultimately almost succumbs to mental fatigue. After gathering the will to go on, she is instructed by the note to use her key to open another drawer inside a guest bedroom to obtain a new key, one that she holds onto for dear life. She notices a mirror, and sees her sister's reflection inside of it. After speaking with the mirror and being relieved to know her sister is alive, Meredith notices a larger mirror. She ignores it, only to be sucked up into it by staring into her horrid reflection, ending up in a strange and unfamiliar territory.

In Chapter 5, Meredith wakes up in a white room made out of marble, and is greeted by Lydia, the guardian of the World of Opposites, a mirror image of the world she just stepped out of and reflects the opposite of everything in the world within the mansion. This means the time of day cannot be confirmed, and it is always dark, and the architecture of the mansion and the layout have all been reversed. She finds the reversed guest bedroom she woke up in when she first entered the mansion and rests for a few hours, and continues her journey...

You can read the story for yourself here:

Also, this is the new character design for Meredith. I am now working on more dynamic and expressive poses for character concept art instead of the usual. Hopefully, this will remedy the reputation I currently have. This image is going to be photoshopped soon and used as one of the parts of the cover art for the novel. Enjoy.

After a while of consideration I have decided to go ahead and draw for this game that I have been thinking of ever since I started playing Tales of Phantasia a couple of months ago on my GBA (yes, I still have the damn thing and it refuses to die). This is an action/RPG hybrid for the Droid and iOS operating systems I want to develop. I will need programmers, animators and composers as well as voice actors on board while I design the characters, write the script, design the interface, write the story, cast voice actors (if anyone is interested), etc, etc, etc. I will be doing quite a lot of work, because I will be designing monsters, weapons, characters, the HUD, writing the story, script and so many other things...

I plan for the release window to be around 2015-2016 because I will be doing a shit ton of drawing and designing. I honestly am hoping that my computer will not need an external hard drive. During this time, I will be improving my art as well, since I have a clear focus on what I want to draw as well. This will be quite interesting to see how it plays out. But, I will post more details later.

Dread. Despair. Lonliness. Sadness. Death. Loss. This is the embodiment of one who has been broken by all of these things.

Trying out something different for a while. I changed her expression to something a little bit more arrogant. By lowering her eyelids, I think I did her quite a favor in the authenticity department. So, there ya have it.

This pose is very good, in my opinion. It's still a safe pose, but I think it tells a lot about her. The gun shows she loves combat, the lack of clothing could easily resemble a sort of recklessness, and her overall posture is that of a person who exerts very little effort. I look at her as sort of a "reckless mercenary" kind of girl. What do you think?

Awesome Sketch
