Dear anime haters and anime fans,

Look, this may sound stupid and boring to read, but trust me, you'll be enlightened after doing so.

Okay, say there is anime hater who just hates anime and wears a T-shirt saying "anime hater". Now, one day, one of his friends, who turns out to be an anime fan, decides to show the hater an anime that he thought the hater might enjoy. So, he goes to the hater, "you should watch if you hate anime so much. Maybe you'll stop hating anime so much if you do and you'll understand me a little better." The hater rejects his offer and right before he gets to leave, the fan goes, "whoa, you haven't even given it a TRY yet...you should!" "Okay, fine, I'll watch it."
The next day, the anime hater comes to the anime fan and says, "wow, this was great!" The anime fan replies, "I knew you'd like it." The anime hater goes, "There's something you should see too, and maybe you'll understand me a little better too." It turns to be a live-action movie (anime fans are notorious for hating these, well at least the ultra-fans are). The fan rejects it and the hater says "This is exactly why no one likes obsessive anime dweebs." So, the fan takes it and watches it and comes back the next day and says "Wow, this was great!"
So the next day, both people try to find other titles in each others' media (hater looks for anime he will like and the fan looks for movies he would like). They each come back to each other enlightened by each other's world. You see, anime haters and anime fans, there's something for EVERYBODY in this world, be it anime, manga (japanese cartoons or japanese comics if you want to put it universally) movies, comics, superhero comics, or even novels (blech...there's only ONE novel series I read) for EVERYONE! The sad part is, is that anime haters don't take the time to find an anime they would enjoy so they insist on being stubborn and hating anime when they haven't even figured out why they hate it so much. Same thing with anime fans. I will admit that some of us more obsessive anime fans who loves anime-based things (games, music, etc.) don't take the time to find live movies we like either. The whole point is, if you at least TRIED to explore each others' worlds, there'd be less hateful comments on forums and things like that. Now here's a comparison of live movies to anime in terms of things you'll find:
Movies: You'll find just about EVERYTHING in movies. Literally, sci-fi, fantasy, romance, drama, crime, mystery, thrillers, comedy (my fave comedy being The Hangover, LOVE IT!), and everything in between.
Anime: You'll find anime with a lot of fanservice, fantasy, sci-fi, comedy, romance, drama, mystery, horror, thriller, action, etc. With anime, you'll find EVERYTHING (literally, even porn if you're into that kind of thing, you sicko).

So, if you explore each other's worlds, there'd be less fighting and less reasons to hate each other's mediums. It really is pathetic to see people fighting over this kind of thing and I wish people would just TRY and understand each other. Andrew Zimmern does it, why can't you? Just some food for thought.

I really am an anime fan, by the way. Just so you know, yes, I LOVE anime, and yes, I do like SOME rap, a lot of live movies, and I even watch documentaries. My favorite genres of both anime and movies are sci-fi, fantasy, comedy, and naughty comedy (ecchi for anime).

Again, I'm not forcing anybody to do anything, I'm just spouting nonsense as usual if you really want to hate us anime fans that much, but opinions are opinions and I can never change that. just don't mix up opinion with fact, kay?
Oh, and one irritation of mine:
Just because someone likes anime does not make them a weeaboo...honestly, that's not even a word...sheesh.
