DO IT! Seriously, I have been posting like crazy, and yet no reviews! Come on, guys! Get to reviewing! I need the feedback!

Well, since I've already made it clear on several other sites, I am working on concept art for a game called Calamity: Day of the Damned. With that in mind, most of what I post from now will be concepts and other things for that game! It will be made using Game Maker 8.1 and will feature hand-drawn sprites, which will be pixeled by a good DeviantART friend of mine. The game will play like BlazBlue only with six buttons, 10 playable characters, feature a 5 level super gauge, a base HP for all characters, a balanced roster, and your standard one-on-one but still chaotic fighting. Story-wise, it's still under wraps, but I assure you it will keep you on the edge of your seat.

I've been working on the story-line for quite some time now, and I think I like this version of it. I already know what I want for a battle engine, and this whole ordeal will be quite the learning experience if I say so myself. I want to develop a game, and this is my chance to put my money where my mouth is. For now, here is the logo:

It's about Rick Santorum. Let me make this clear: I am not gay. I simply take civil liberties for everyone, including the LGBT community extremely seriously. These people have done nothing wrong to me, and I have nothing but respect for them. However, what bothers me is Rick Santorum's attitude on Gay Marriage, calling it "Wrong" and the "Destruction of the home and family institutions." These opinions of his are very short-sighted and myopic at best. Do we REALLY want an ignorant man like this running for president? Do we? If so, please let me know why we should. I think his opinions are just so blatantly offensive, and even though I find two guys kissing gross, if they want to get married, let them. It's not our business to decide what others do in their private lives.

Seriously...You've got problems and I recommend seeing a psychiatrist immediately.

Your art is getting more and more disturbing everyday...

Oh, that reminds me...There are other horror and macabre artists on here, and while their stuff isn't as graphic or violent as Shadling, there's a lot of "Good" disturbing stuff people should see. For example, I saw this nearly PERFECT rendition of the creature in Frankenstein's lab. There are so very good works of horror art on here, even if some are a littlr graphic, but using sex and blood and gore in the same image is just...

Wrong...I'm not going to make fun of you for doing it, just letting you know that it's kind of disturbing, and I would like to see the Shadling go at least just a little bit more tame. That goes without saying, a lot of his artwork is great, if you can get past the gore images in his gallery. He's very talented, albeit a little...gross.

Well, I figured out that when using Magix Music Maker 16, you can make your own arrangements, and not use the pre-made sound pool. I saw a video that looked like the person was using custom note arrangements similar to those seen in Garageband. Here's one example:

I saw a custom MIDI arranger around the first 3 minutes of this video, and it looks like the keyboard in Little Big Planet 2, where you can decide how long a note goes for, and so on.
This pretty much proves how right I am. I also learned that if I make my game's music with Music Maker and want to sell it, I cannot use anything from the sound pool. I just called tech support, and they gave the OK, so long as it wasn't from the sound pool. That's pretty much it for now...updates will continue later.

Not going to tell you what, though.
